AEX Academy

TWO days - $10.00 (plus lunch money for the first day) - A lot of fun!  AEX is the Aero Space Excellence Academy and it is an annual event that CAP squadrons can participate in to be involved in Aero Space activities. This year in the Chattanooga area we have arranged to be observers at the Chattanooga Radio Control Club (Radio Controlled airplane Exhibition). This should be a day of interesting and exciting radio controlled airplanes. Some of the planes will have wingspans between 4 and 5 feet.

The second day will be a day of experiments and projects which will teach how Aerodynamics work and different principles of flight.

All cadets and officers are welcome to attend, but only those attending both days will qualify for credit in the AEX program. The $10.00 registration fee is due by the end of the regular squadron meeting on July 28, 2009.

DETAILS:

Day one (August 1, 2009, Saturday): Meet at TN-187 Squadron at 0900, Van will LEAVE at 0930. Return to squadron approximately 1600 (more definite time as available)

AE Study Guide

CAP National has compiled a study guide for the Aero Space Dimensions 2000. This is a very convenient way to make sure you have a good understanding of the Aero Space material before you take the test. There are instructions and help on how to study, how to prepare for a test, and more. Then there are study questions for each module of the Aero Space text. The answers are listed in the back of the study guide so you can be sure you answered correctly.

Click the link below to download the Study guide. Once you have downloaded it you can save it to your computer, print it out, or use it however you study best.
